Europe Week 2019 has officially started! EU Ambassador Luigi Soreca presented the programme in the presence of Acting Minister of European and Foreign Affairs Gent Cakaj, EU Member States Ambassadors and media.

To kick off this week with interesting, fun, and informative activities, today we launched the opening of the new Europe House premises in Tirana. A fantastic public space hosting conferences, exhibitions, book clubs, and discussions of all types.

“My team and I want this “house” to be a proper “home”: full of life, passion and debate. A “home” where we can fully enjoy the values of the European Union – solidarity, democracy and fundamental rights. Communicating about the EU is not a one-way process, from the EU to Albanians. It is a dialogue of equals and we are here to listen. Europe House is the space of the EU Delegation, of our Member States, but first of all, I would like it to become the house of all Albanian citizens,” said EU Ambassador Luigi Soreca.
