The cinema nights were held simultaneously in 5 different cities with the aim to promote the Europian culture and bring it closer to the Albanian citizens. The formula conisted in broadcasting in each city a different movie originating from different EU Member States.

Citizens of respective communities showed a great interest in joining the events.

The following movies were shown:

• Vlora – “Eltern” (Germany) at the open air cinema of Vlora waterfront
• Berat – “Sorrow of Mrs.Snajdrova” (Czech Republic) on the city promenade
• Gjirokastra – “Politiki Kouzina” (Greece) at the Odeon
• Belsh – “Siv Sleeps Astray” (Sweden) on the city promenade
• Tirana – “Fuocoammare” (Italy) at the Istituto Italiano di Cultura.
