EU in Albania is very proud to have supported ZÂ Fest 2019! The audience was stunned by the remarkable artistic performances, outdoor sports activities, and lively discussions in a 3-day spectacle offering something fun for everyone! Right in the heart of Theth, ZÂ Fest hosted outdoor activities like yoga sessions amidst the beautiful scenery of the Albanian alps and hiking to the iconic Blue Eye. In the evenings, Albanian culture and heritage were brought to life with poetry and storytelling by Arben Bajraktaraj. Talented artists like Vlashent Sata, Elina Duni, Don’t Listen to Your Neighbors, Agona Shporta and Ilir Bajri kept the crowd on their feet with their musical performances. On the last day, Albanian anthropologist Nebi Bardhoshi engaged with the audience in a discussion on the future of Theth: the education of youth, property rights, and the region’s transformation into one of the top tourist destination in the country.
