He was born in Albania, she in Romania and today they are among the most appreciated artists for their special performances in Austria. Eno Peçi in ballet accompanied by Maria Radutu in piano will perform for Europe Week 2020 on Friday 8 May at 20:00.
Eno Peçi is a soloist and a very promising young choreographer. He performs as a soloist in classical, neo-classical and modern pieces at the Vienna Opera. In Albania, he is famous for his debuts at the Vienna New Year’s Concert. In the last two years, Eno Peçi was the choreographer of the opening ceremony of the Vienna Opera Ball.
In 2008 Eno Peçi was awarded the title “Ambassador of the Nation” while in 2018 “Knight of the Order of Skanderbeg” by the Albanian government. In 2019, Austrian President Van der Bellen decorated him with the “Austrian Cross of Honor” for science and art.
Maria Radutu was called a “miracle” in her home country where she won more than 20 piano competitions. After that, she performed in Europe, Asia and the US. Maria Radatu combines classical music with modern art and finds her inspiration in collaborations with artists from various fields.
