In Korça on Saturday, the EU Delegation ended its Europe Week Journey through Albania’s Cultural and Natural Wonders. During seven days, and through more than 25 events, we have explored how Albania is an essential part of Europe’s rich culture and history.

Cultural Heritage: a chance for Albania

Open air conference was dedicated to the rich cultural heritage of Albania and its potential as a driver for economic growth and job creation. The event included opening remarks by EU Ambassador Romana Vlahutin and Minister of Culture Mirela Kumbaro, followed by presentations and discussions with representatives of civil society organisations, municipality and international organisations. At the end, the ceremony concluded with handing out of award prizes for the winners of the Bed and Breakfast architectural competition organised by the EU Delegation.

Following the completion of the event, celebrations continued with a live concert of traditional music from the Korca region.
